Soccer Time! Go Little E!
Easton finally has his wish come true as he became old enough to play a sport on a team. He turned 4 this August and just couldn't wait to have his own games to go to like dad. He would often say, "Mom, I have a game at 6 0'clock. I have to go." He's definitely an athlete in training, and he's good! The first three games Easton played soccer, which he'd never played before, he wouldn't do anything. He wouldn't run, kick, or involve himself in anyway. He just scowled at us as he'd slowly walk up and down the field. Something clicked for him around the third or fourth game and he got it! He's quite the player now. It has been very rewarding to watch. He ended up scoring 11 goals for his season. Go Little E!
Horse Therapy; "Giddy Up!"
We put McArthur into Horse Therapy beginning in the summer of this year and have had fun watching him learn and adjust to each session. We figured it was a win win situation due to his great love of animals and the hope of the therapy. There have been beautiful, success moments intermixed with equally ugly and frustrating moments. As a whole however, we feel it has been a great experience. Now he is riding alone without a walker. That has been very fun to see!
